Update On The Fort
For those of you who havent seen this, a post made by frenchie on the fort forum:
Good Evening Guys & Gals!
Ok, two bits of information:
Firstly, on the 10th of April we will be running a Fort vs The Deserters game at The Quarry. Since it's their home ground they have kindly allowed us to bring the game scenarios, as they reckon we'll get our arses handed to us! We shall see! The guys at the Quarry have agreed to run to our limits (350 fps) so you don't get scared, and in return we'll run their green fee for this game – just £15
Secondly, and more significantly, following discussions with The Deserters we have agreed that we will share their site, The Fort will be operating fortnightly starting with the game on the 10th. Normal Fort rules, games, velocity limits and prices will apply on those Sundays. The Deserters will continue to run their own games for their club members.
We are still actively looking for a permanent home nearer central Scotland but we have been out of the game for too long and we are deeply grateful to Kev, Ian and the guys for this offer. Although not huge, the Quarry has terrain unlike anything you have been used to at the Fort and that in itself makes it a real challenge – hopefully many of you will join us and discover it's hidden 'delights'.
More details regarding the 10th April to follow shortly
